New and Improved: Heavy Duty Hand Cleaner - Textra!
Our product innovation team are pleased to announce a new and improved formulation for our heavy-duty hand soap, Textra! Textra is a versatile hand soap that utilises naturally derived ‘bits’ for enhanced cleaning action and is suitable for use through pump or wall-mounted dispensers!
As of June 2018, products containing plastic microbeads have been outlawed for sale. Conscious of the impact these microbeads have on the environment, XRO Chemical Services Ltd. have been successfully formulating with green alternatives since 2015!
Previously we have used natural silica, this worked well, but the “bits” were heavy and abrasive, leading to issues with drains and dispensers.
Our efforts to improve the product continued and our latest formulation for Textra has made the transition from natural silica to perlite. Perlite is derived from volcanic rock, is lighter and less abrasive than silica. Furthermore, it means Textra can continue to offer the same great performance without any discomfort!
